We started the month with the best intentions.
We wanted to get ALL THE THINGS and do ALL THE WORK but the nearly constant rain limits us on a lot of the projects. BUMMER.
We did get the deck and cockpit cleaned out and spent four nights in a hotel room with a U-haul truck to have the boat empty while we cleaned the cabin from end to end, top to bottom.
That was SO NECESSARY. The mildew behind everything due to condensation over the winter was SUPER GROSS. SO glad that’s gone!
We cleaned out the cockpit lockers too and sort of organized them.
Never-Ending To-Do List
Now that the cleaning is done we have a LOT more to do to get going.
First thing is to replace the impeller on the engine and PRAY we don’t need a new water pump. *crosses fingers* We’ll change the filters and fluids too while we’re in there once we actually get to it. We may have to put up a tarp and just get it done instead of waiting out the constant rain.
Ah, the challenges of marina life in the Pacific Northwest!
