Well we were having a lovely Passover until… yesterday morning when I went to the parking lot to go to school THE CAR WAS GONE! So we are now car-less and I’m internally trying to decide what would be the best course of action: buy a new car with my school loan or fix the boat? I am leaning towards fixing the boat, but we really have a lot to do that a car would make life SO much easier. We have monthly trips to Portland to get Kosher food for Dov that we could do on the bus, but a car makes it so much easier. Plus school is much easier to do on my own schedule when there is a car. Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm is hard to coordinate rides for and I don’t have a bike (yet). There’s the other option, I bus to St Helens one morning and buy a cheap Walmart special and bike back. Could my poor middle aged body even handle that? So many questions. I’ll let you know what the final answer ends up being.
